Make a good plan for your garden
If it is the first time you engage in planting and growing vegetables, try first with a smaller garden. A garden whose dimensions are roughly three times four meters is sufficient to supply fruits to a four-member family, and there will probably be enough amount of surplus that will greatly serve for the winter.
In addition, before you start, it would be a good idea to consider and decide what exactly you want to plant. Some of the best vegetables for beginners are pods, tomatoes, cucumbers, peppers, salad, zucchini and leafy vegetables.
Select a location
So, where will you plant your garden? Would you use tanks or ‘raised beds’ or did you plan on placing vegetables simply in the ground? Whichever way you decide, make sure that the place intended for the garden is exposed to sun for at least six hours a day. If you plant the vegetables in the ground, avoid close proximity to trees and shrubs.
Prepare the ground
The soil should be deep, muddy and contain organic substances such as compost, manure and chopped leaves. To make sure that the soil is healthy, inquire and inform about the types of soil, quality testing and soil enrichment.
Plant vegetables
Before planting, check when it comes to the season for vegetables, which, of course, varies from climate to climate. For success, it is essential to plant vegetables at a certain time and enjoy rich fruits in the season.
Take care of the garden
Give the garden a sufficient amount of water, and if you can, water the garden in the morning. In addition to regular watering, it is important for a beautiful garden to weed the weeds and protect it from the pest. Finally, when the vegetables mature, you should pick it up and truly enjoy the fruits.
